Tim & Jolene, my son and dil, mentioned that in Niger, children were often left to themselves unless they were doing chores. Parents seemed to be OK with their kids playing out in the roads with the other kids. It must be a safer place than here, i.e., not much danger from sexual predators.

I recall in the 1950s playing outside with lots of neighbor kids for hours on end as our mothers were indoors doing housework, or, in my mother's case, reading. (lol) It was a safer era in our country back then.Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04587300140099806425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-617652323643666421.post-58191718536119268842012-08-12T07:04:26.941+02:002012-08-12T07:04:26.941+02:00sweet...sweet...magiceyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17848851692951192508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-617652323643666421.post-71455143547394817802012-08-11T17:22:30.209+02:002012-08-11T17:22:30.209+02:00Such sweet little ones!
