Even though the first photo is not straight, the trees bowing before the prevailing wind, compels the eye to follow it to the right. (I took it from the back of our Harley Davidson as we travelled along the bumpy and rutted farm road.)
When my husband realised I was taking photos, he kindly stopped and I managed to capture the reflection of poplar trees in the water. Once I was done, we continued on our way. A few kilometres ahead I nudged him and he stopped again. I took the third photo...
These photos were taken with my very first digital camera, Sony Cybershot 5.0 megapix. These are of the first twenty photos I took with this camera. I have since been blessed with a Canon EOS350D (SLR) which I use extensively while at home or when travelling by car. My little Sony is still a firm favourite; it's on my desk beside me as I type. I always pop it into my handbag for "quick pix" in town and of course, it is excellent for taking photographs from the back of a motorbike.

I like all the photos you've shared. Have a wonderful Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are delightful and could easily convert to paintings! Especially love the sway of the trees in the first photo! For some reason, I like to phtograph a dipping horizon! It leads the eye to special areas of the photo!

ReplyDeleteGreyscale Territory;) Welcome to my blog. Yes, you're so right. When I downloaded the photos onto my blog I thought what beautiful paintings they'd make. I was hoping someone would also see how the dipping horizon leads the eye to a specail area. Thanks for your positive comments.
