In answer to your? we are quite free to take photos. more often than not the hand is out like the beggars they are, sorry u. they are also used to me now they also know there photo may be on the net. so quite a few just turn away when the camera is out. I was in Khartoum in 2002, with the mobile hospital from Aswan, the secret police turned up one morning and confiscated all the equipment, what a place never have I seen such poverty.
