Khartoum Hot Birds
Even though these aren't technically our pets, they visit the birdfeeder we erected on the balcony. We get a lot of pleasure watching them make good use of the seed, fruit and water bowl.
I feel quite sad when I see birds with mouths held open like this! It must be a hot day for them to do this! We keep a large bowl of water on the verandah for the feathered ones!
oh these guys keep interrupting my sleep and i love to chase them!!

ReplyDeleteunusual and unique header sandy
ReplyDeleteIt's good that you provide a food and water station for them and because they visit regularly you can legitimately regard them as pets.
ReplyDeleteha-ha Bozo;) South African dogs also chase these birds but never catch them!
ReplyDeleteWe get so much pleasure out of them, Sunny.
Hi Gemma;) good to see you. Yes, we have a shallow dish of drinking and bathing water on the feeder. They love it!
Hello Sandy;) thanks for popping in. Thanks for your kind comment.
Hi Jabblog;) yes, here in our dry, hot and dusty neighborhood, the birds sure seem to enjoy the treats.
What cute bird pictures ! I have to close your blog very quickly in case one of my four cats sees the birds and jumps in my screen, lol !
