  1. Looks like he's repairing the roof!? Hope he doesn't tumble off and hurt himself! Pretty blue sky, though.

  2. Whatever that man is doing, it really doesn't look very safe... You'll have to explain that picture to me..

  4. It does look hot there! Great sky and a daring and/or foolish man on the roof. Hope he gets it taken care of -- whatever it is! Have a lovely weekend, Jo!

  5. I agree, not very safe. But I guess somebody has to repair that roof!

  6. Hi Everyone, thanks for the comments. As I walked through an alleyway in the Arabian market in Khartoum last week, I was stopped by a pile of cardboard falling directly in front of me. I looked up and there was this guy throughing cardboard and sacking off the roof - obviously to use when he came down. In the mining/construction life that we had before, health and safety was a big factor. Obviously it' not in this case! I liked the image of the silhouette against the sunny blue sky.

  7. Yikes! There's all kinds of stuff on that roof, not to mention that the roof looks quite uneven! I guess they're used to working in such conditions!

  11. That looks like a Very scary roof to be on. But I guess if one has to do repairs there isn't a lot of choice.

  12. A man sees what needs to be done, then does it!
Sometimes there is no safe way to get a job done... or is there?
