Yesterday I decided to play around with some of the scenes I photographed on our camping trip over New Year. As it had been raining for a week, we were washed out from camping and spent the night in a "Hobbit-like" silo on the farm. You can read about this here if you wish.
The photo which I played with is taken from a bridge over a river on the way to the Korannaberg mountains.
Original photo - straight off the camera
Gray scale/black and white
Reverse black and white (weird!)
Coloured pencil (my favourite)
Sepia
Watercolour
Which is your favourite?
Ooh, hard to decide. I think I like the black and white, but then I think I like the sepia, and the watercolour is very nice, too.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll pick the watercolour because I've never seen that special effect before.
What fun for you!

What fun! I like the watercolor best.
ReplyDeleteThat's some interesting experimentation. The reverse black and white looks like a science fiction setting! I like the watercolor best.
ReplyDeleteOOOH! How clever! Apart from sepia, and black & white, I've not seen the rest of these techniques done before :)
ReplyDeleteI love playing around with PhotoShop, too! My favorite of your photos here is the watercolor one--lovely!
