As he will be turning one on 21 May, the date we fly back to East Africa, Grant and I are going down to visit him, his dad, mom and three siblings today. I'm not sure whether we'll get to see this little guy (who has grown into a sturdy, intelligent, handsome toddler) as he may be asleep. His older sister and brother and younger sister may be in school doing their lessons, so we may not see them either.
Yesterday I ordered a personalised birthday cake for our littlest Hedges and will deliver it to him when we get there today.
Happy Birthday dear little Elijah
Happy Birthday to your little grandson. It seems he and I share a birthday ;-)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful, Jo. I'm surprised Grant talked you into accompanying him on yet another mine job after he "retired" — you must have wanted to stay within an easy distance of all your grandchildren!
ReplyDeleteWell, you have a bit of time left. Too bad you might not see the birthday boy.
Take good care of yourself.
