The little cat that could...

I think I can,  I know I can, I think I can

Ready, steady...

Oops!

Shadow has discovered tree-climbing this week. He loves it but is still rather new at the game.

  1. Hi Jo — you know how much I love Shadow, and I would hate to see anything happen to him. Perhaps, now that he is learning to leap around in the trees, he should go out without his harness, because it could get snagged on branches.
Just a suggestion. This tree looks nice and smooth, but others nearby have small branches that might catch on his harness.
Wonderful action shots, though. He is SO cute, and your title for this post is just perfect.

  2. What a wonderful photo (2nd one) of Shadow's tree climbing efforts.

  3. I think you should take off the harness when he climbs on a tree, it's too dangerous, it wouldn't be the first cat who strangles herself. My cats have collars with an elastic so if they get stuck on a branch they can free themselves.

  4. Cute photo capture! I hope he wasn't too far off the ground when he attempted that. A little practice and he'll gain some confidence and grace, I'm sure.

  7. Shadow's motto must be, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." These are cute action shots!

He flies through the air with the greatest of ease! Well maybe not.
    Wonderful action shot.
