An encouraging verse
Good news from far away is like cold water to the thirsty. Proverbs 25:25
This is a special post for someone very close to me who's waiting for an answer.God always answers prayer. Always in His own time, on time and often not in the way we expect.
I heard someone tell this week that Ruth Graham had said that if God had answered all her prayers she would have married the wrong man 17 times and not one of them would have been Billy! God is an "on-time" God.
Fred, I hadn't heard that quote from Mrs. Billy Graham but I love it! It reminds me of the words of that song sung by Garth Brooks...the words include "some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayer". God is good and all knowing. Praise His Name.

ReplyDeleteIt's so easy for people to forget that last part, isn't it, Jo? "God grant me patience. Now."
