Tranquil Reflections

Last Tuesday after market, Sue and I visited the dam for some birding and to take photos. I was trying to capture a Pied Kingfisher fishing and snapped this photo as it had risen from the water. I missed the kingfisher but when I downloaded the photo, I realised I had a beautiful reflection of an egret perched in the tree on the banks of the river.

    Excellent shot, Jo! But then, all your photos are excellent. I once was making some video of some ostrich in Nairobi Game Park - and did not observe the two lions in the background until I got home and watched the video on the VHS player.
