Hi Bozo, my mum thinks I'm a crazy cat for eating vegetables. Here I'm enjoying a LARGE bowl of maize. I know that Lindy from Alberta also eats vegetables and look at what a beautiful dog she is.

Corn (maize) is hard to digest. Does it bother Shadow? I'm sure Lindy would eat it if I'd let her. DIck loves corn-on-the-cob in the summertime, and wants to share it with her but I have trouble with it, so I don't want to try giving it to Lindy.

We had a cat that just loved sweetcorn, raw or cooked. Another ginger momma cat we had used to bring large chunks of pumpkin from the neighbours compost heap for her kittens. It was a sight to see her carting heavy peaces of pumpkin with her tail held high for balance.
ReplyDeleteOne of our Burmese adored grapes and my daughter's special friend, a Border Collie ate anything she gave her, grapes, apples oranges, carrots and stewed vegetables. To each his own . . .
