At last - freedom!

Our yoomens have built a shamba (garden/enclosure) at the back of our house in Mwadui. Now we kitties (me: Shadow, Ginger and Ambrose) can safely spend time outdoors - under supervision only says mum -  roll around in the sand, sniff all the wonderful smells and generally enjoy the fresh African air and sunshine!
Like Ambrose and I, Ginger enjoys rolling in the sand

Ambrose is still not too sure about all this new-found freedom!

A local man came and erected an eight-foot high reed fence. Now we're safe from the dogs live in and protect the garden

Seeing as I'm spokesman for the kitties I added another photo of myself!

  11. I always love an extra photo of Shadow, but you know that already. LOL
The reed fence doesn't look very sturdy to the western eye, and it looks like the cats might try to climb it, but I'm sure you and Grant know better than I do when it comes to African house cats, but you know I worry about them, just like any elderly aunt.
The sunset in your previous post is magnificent!
