Yesterday while I sat in the garden with the three cats, I lifted my camera to the skies and snapped this
In the morning, I spent a fruitful and productive hour doing pottery with friends Tilla and Amanda. Amanda and I arranged to meet at the pool later in the afternoon. (Tilla finds the water too cold, and opted out)
The skies were slightly overcast by the time we met for a swim, but the water was divine. Of course, we chatted non-stop too!

Looks like loads of fun... It's been warm here this week--but a cold front is coming over the weekend. I am ready for another roaring fire in the fireplace...
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Lovely blue skies, Jo!! Great captures for the day! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI'm like Tilla. I found the ourdoor pool water in Kenya too cold. But once you get in and splash around a bit you get used to it. In Lake Baringo at one of the hotels we had warm spring water in the pool...heaven!
ReplyDeleteThe pool does look inviting.
ReplyDeleteLovely skies, Jo! They are calling for Hurricane Sandy to come into our area soon. I am kind of hoping it goes another direction. The pool shot looks nice, great on a HOT day! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a poinciana tree. Very pretty. The pool looks a good place for a chat.
ReplyDeleteand here it rains cats and dogs again ! and we have 4 ° ! No wonder that people are getting colds 2 days ago we had 20 °. So I am back to winter clothes, lol !
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what's going on in other parts of our amazing world.
ReplyDeleteLovely blossoms and sky shot.
