Three days ago, Mum closed us in the veranda area; Regina placed our food bowls (three) water bowls (three) and litter boxes (yes, three) in there with us. We knew something was afoot.
And it was.
Soon a man from another town arrived and then horror of horrors, Askari Michael lead Princess along the side of the house and brought her into the house. Not near us, of course; but into Dad's bathroom. I purred happily because I heard Mum tell Dad later that when Princess got to the back door, she lay down and wouldn't come inside. Michael carried her to the big bathroom.
I also heard Mum talking to the other man, about the dogs prashuns.
What's a prashun, Unca Shadow?
Huh, they do what? Cut you up, fiddle inside you and then sew you together again? And that happened to us: me, Ambrose, you Unca Shadow and Dad Ginger? Ewgh.
Because their mum had disappeared into our house, Princess' pups sniffed around the front door.
Bibi and Msishana -Neusi sniff at our front door trying to find their mama
Mvulana plays with a water bottle; he doesn't seem to worry where his mama is
This is me when the pups get to close to the veranda
For safety I curled next to my Dad Ginger
up behind the Mama Chui/Tiger
More pups playing on the lawn. When will it end?
At least now all is back to normal although there is a new dog,
Nando
in the garden:. He lived at the Guest House but since he and Princess had their prashuns, he has moved in here in our garden.

ReplyDeleteAmbrose, you certainly have become a big cat. We could hardly tell you and Dad Ginger apart.
ReplyDeleteThe puppies are very cute, and we hope they all have good homes soon. We particularly like Mvulana, as he is almost the same colour as Lindy.
It's so nice to be back here with you and Bozo.
Lots of love,
Kay and Lindy
