Happy birthday Grant

Guess who has a birthday today?

And guess who has started walking with me and the dogs every morning?

The birthday boy - er - gentleman.
Happy Birthday Grant!
Such interesting smells in the grass

Since Christmas weekend, I've missed seeing the cattle in the paddock next to the golf course. Grant thought they may have been moved in preparation to going to slaughter. Ergh!

Yesterday they were back.
Skabenga goes to the fence to greet the cattle
Mwaah! Good to see you again!
And then I almost got a kiss!

As always, the rising sun plays over the grasses and other wildflowers

Amazing what you see when you get up close and personal with nature

This is a fence shot which I might use on Thursday!

This is a tiny yellow bloom among the blades of grass

And above the first rays of the sun glowing in the clouds

I'm linking to Our World Tuesday here

  4. My son lived in South Africa for a couple years. I enjoyed these photos! I don't think I've ever seen cattle quite like that.
