Mixed bag of critters and flora

This week I have a mixed bag of critters: birds, flora, farm animals, nature and natural occurances;  vehicles, farm crops and fields of flowers!
A Black-headed heron over the golf course
Early morning vapors over the dam near Hole No 5 on the golf course
A minuscule bloom underfoot while I walked the dogs on the golf course
The resident horse in the paddock next to the golf course
Sheep in transit seen on a trip to the city this week
A pristine field of sunflowers along the road on our return from the city
A windmill amid autumnal grasses and the beginning of the cosmos
Neat hay bales set out on the field with sleek cattle grazing in the background
Hay bales being transported
A farm tractor riding from one farm to another along the regional road

The cosmos was glorious and I took drive-by photos; using the sport mode, I held the shutter down continuously and clicked away!

Waning Gibbous; visibility 82%; age 19 days

  5. You have been busy with your camera. Well done! Love the flowers and the rural scenes of SA. Nothing like we see on TV.
