The cats are out the bag!

Hi Bozo and Mum's blog followers; this is Ambrose and do I have news for you! We Hedges kitties are let out at last. Mum kept us indoors for three weeks; we heard people (our yoomen dad the most) tell her to let the cats (that's us!) out and into the garden. Mmm, even we thought we should be allowed out before this.

But...

As usual...

Mum knows best!

When it was all quiet on the yard and still early (very early) in the morning, Mum opened the door. First Unca Shadow sat in the doorway and when Aunty Chappie joined him, they both jumped down from the step onto the lawn.
Unca Shadow and Aunty Chappie explore the garden together

Dad Ginger and I watched from the security of Mum's bed.

Then I jumped down and went out of the door...
...straight across the lawn...
...to the B I G animals house!
Dad Ginger also went into the garden to explore
I followed him and together we ran up to the fence - Mum couldn't catch us so she took the dogs for a walk!

We are happy indoor/outdoor kitties now!

  1. I found Mr. Hudson (our cat!) sitting with his face as close to the fly wire as possible today - I think he wanted to go outside! But, cats in Australia just do so much damage to the wildlife that he has to be an indoor cat, with a heart set on the wild!!

  4. That's nice that you can go out again ! You must have missed it ! I once tried to keep Arthur inside when he had the broken tail, but he meowed non stop and made us crazy. Finally Mr. G. fixed a cord from one end to the other of the garden and put the cord through the leash which was fixed on a harness which Arthur wore without protest. So he was outside could walk from one end to the other and we had our peace again, lol !
