Returning from a trip to town, Grant stopped and I got out to collect the litter. I was surprised to see that the papers weren't actually schoolwork; they were notes from a meeting held by the committee and teachers of the school.
Mmm. Makes you think, doesn't it?
Cleaning up the environment
This week with all the rain, our normal hike on Tuesday was cancelled. During our walk last week, I stopped to snap wildflowers along the way.
Do you stop to smell/photograph the roses wildflowers?
Back at the hotel, I photographed one of the resident dogs - a rather old bull mastif
It fascinates me how our cats love to be near the horses!
The horses, in turn, are most gentle when the cats wander in between their hooves
I'm linking to Saturday Critters with Eileen here
HAPPY SATURDAY TO YOU ALL!
Bravo ! for picking up the papers ! There are really pigs everywhere ! I have read that cats love horses and the other way around and have seen pictures with cats sleeping on the horses, lol !
ReplyDeleteHello Jo, you are awesome to be out there picking up the litter. I love all your critters, cute dog and kitties and the horses are beautiful. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeletePretty wildflowers and awesome critters today Jo.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Gattina...well done, picking up litter. You rock.
Hi Jo! Good for you tidying up the area, something I have thought of doing along our road!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet to see the kitties playing in the garden near the horses!
And yes, I love to stop and take pics of little flowers as I walk!
Good for you for taking the time to pick up the litter. Where are your gloves ;) I did a litter clean up walk once and got to a curve in the lane where I was working. I had to stop and place a call to the people doing the charity walk for the local Humane Society. There was so much trash dumped from cars on that curve, it took a small truck to get it all up.
ReplyDeleteWonderful nature and critters shots ~ love the cats and the little peeking out ~ and the darling Mom and baby horse and the sweet dog ~ thanks,
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Saturday ~ ^_^
Cute critters and really pretty flowers. Good on you for picking up the litter. There's not much of it here in New Zealand, but I can't stand to see it blowing around, so I pick it up when I see it, too! I do wonder if those teacher's notes were important :)
