Black-headed Oriole

Last weekend while in nearby Winterton, I heard a warbling song issued from a tree above our parked vehicle. I grabbed my camera, lifted it up and zoomed in.

A Black-headed Oriole was giving voice.

The Black-headed Oriole has a bright yellow body, contrasting black head and a flesh-colored beak. The voice is a liquid-sounding warble, accompanied by imitations and whistles.
