Dad Ginger and I, Ambrose asleep on Mum's bed
Unbca Shadow asleep on his chair
Aunty Chappie likes the blanket-covered doughnut on the floor
Last week Mum's friends, Unca Gavin and his daughters, Jenna and Derryn came to our house. We were a little nervous because we saw Unca Gavin had a syringe and that means pain. But once Mum had caught me, Aunty Chappie and Dad Ginger and with Jenna helping to hold us, Unca Gavin lifted the neck on our skin and put the needle in. We didn't feel a thing!
Unca Shadow was having none of this. Mum caught him behind her bed, lifted him and carried him to the lounge. Jenna tried to put her hands on him but Mum said afterwards he exploded and scratched Mum and got away. By this time we other kitties were watching this with big eyes. Mum managed to find Shadow behind the sofa, picked him up and carried him back to where Jenna was waiting with a towel to wrap him in. As she touched him, although Mum was holding him tightly, he hissed and spat loudly and shot out of her arms. Between the yoomens they decided to leave Shadow for another day...
We tried to tell Unca Shadow that the yoomens were trying to help us so that we don't become ill. He kept mumbling he doesn't believe all that; he doesn't trust yoomens who grab him and stick things into his neck!

Hope wiser counsel prevails and Unca Shadow agrees.

Hello, the shots do help keep the kitties healthy. Shadow needs to take his shot too. Cute photos of the sleeping kitties. Enjoy your day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute babies!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's a nuisance, but it's for your own good!
ReplyDeleteAunty Chappie looks a lot like one of ours - only a little shorter haired.

Such cuties. Pets and needles definitely don't mix.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame Unca Shadow, I'd do the same if I saw a needle coming at me 😀
