New kitty

Hi Bozo and all Mum's blog readers; this is Ambrose and I'm back to blogging again. Two terrible things happened in our kitty household: Unca Shadow was caught by the dogs and he's not with us anymore. Then my dad, Ginger, lay down one morning and never got up again. Mum knows that I still don't understand the way yoomens accept these things. I miss my Unca Shadow and really miss my dad. 😿

 Last week Mum came home with one of our kitty baskets and she had a cat inside it. 

 Mmm...

 I smell a rat...
 ...or a cat! 

Mum had this kitty and her five babies at the shop. The kittens went to good homes (hope they're as good as ours) and Mum has brought the Mama cat home.

Mum has kept we house kitties separate from Mama cat until we all get used to each other. 

Mmm. I wonder when that will be? 
 The newest (and oldest) kitty added to the Hedges kitty household 
Mum calls her Mama Cass 
 Missy is very nervous having a new kitty in the house 
 Nothing bothers Aunty Chappy. She just rests and waits...

    That's very nice of you having taken the old Mamma home, she looks a bit exhausted probably too many kids in her life !

    Hope they all settle in well together. I will be away from tomorrow for at least 6 weeks, I will pop in if I have time but.... We will be caring for FIL who had Alzheimers so time will be very limited! Have a good Christmas and all the best for 2019. Diane

    my heart hurts for you missing your dad, I always loved the way you slept together. I hope Mama Cass will get comfy enough to sleep and cuddle with you.... she doesn't look to happy right now but I think she will be

    It is hard getting used to some kitties not being around. I hope the new cat will grow on you quickly and you can all be one big happy family

    It will get better but will take a little time. Mamma Cass will love you after you all get to know each other. Adding another new family member is a very welcoming thing to do.
