A happy dog loping along on his walk with Mama
Uh-oh! The dam was filled with cows!
Mum, I'm nervous! And yet dying to cool off as well!
Skabby plodged in the shallows all the while keeping an eye on the cows...
...who were keeping an eye on him too!
Back along the farm road we came across a black cow with her newborn black calf. She, too, kept an eye on Skabby as we approached
The calf goes in for a drink
The milk lorry leaving the farm after collecting milk
I'm linking to Eileen's Saturday Critters here
I'm a bit late - the next post shows why...
Happy Sunday to you all!
Hello, Cute shots of Skabby on the walk and the cattle. I am sure he really wanted a swim, he is well behaved. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post.Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week !
ReplyDeleteI love dogs and cows and this makes me happy. so glad he doesn't chase them and that they could share the dam. Skabby looks fantastic. I have missed seeing him... I also love milk, but have developed lactose intolerance in my old age. I buy the lactaid but it cost a lot more
ReplyDeleteI developed lactose intolerance in my early 40s. I can eat cheese till the cows come home (ha) with nary a problem, but woe betide me if I drink milk. I've come to the point where I don't like to drink dairy milk anymore, but I do like to use it in recipes such as pudding. I take the Lactaid pills and they help.
DeleteThat looks like a refreshing afternoon at the water hole. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd of course the cows would keep an eye on him.
