Good morning Blogger friends. Last week as I lifted the lid of my laundry basket, I noticed a small movement on the edge. A really small movement.
A baby praying mantis.
I took a few photos and then managed to move it carefully from the basket to the outer windowsill of my bathroom windows.
Young praying mantis

WISHING YOU A PEACEFUL SATURDAY
Hello, Jo
ReplyDeleteGreat sighting of the Praying Mantis, it is nice you could rescue it. I do not see them often! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Great capture Jo. From a distance it could be mistaken for a blade of grass!
ReplyDeletehe is cute and also adorable and glad the cats did not find him before you could move him to safe space
ReplyDeleteWhat a discovery and rescue mission. Freeing one praying mantis at a time. Good work, Jo. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHow precious! And you had a good eye to even see him! Very neat photos!
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI have only ever seen one prying mantis here but they are around. Plenty of them in Africa :-) I hope you are well. Diane
