Let there be life!

Over the weekend, Amanda showed me a few more features on my camera. Here are a few beautiful photos of butterflies, dragonflies and flowers in my garden. Amanda took these photos. I 'll post mine soon.

The image is so clear, you can see the joints on the dragonfly's body

Butterfly on indigenous flower (sorry I don't know the name of the shrub)

  1. Oh, wow, Jo. Beautiful.
Dick got me a new camera for my birthday, which is still almost 3 weeks away, but I haven't figured it out yet. We're leaving here the day after my birthday, and we're going to Hawaii. I've got to learn this camera, and I've got to find my little laptop computer ...it's somewhere in the house, I'm sure, but I don't know where!
Looking forward to your 'new' photos. I love the color of the unknown flower. Such a brilliant blue.

  10. Wow, Jo, be sure to tell Amanda that I think these are spectacular shots! Sometimes I really wish Jerry would let me buy a better camera. But, I shouldn't covet; rather I should be happy with my little Canon PowerShot SD600.
