The Greatest Commandment

"And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength. The second is equally important: Love your neighbour as yourself. No other commandment is greater than these." Mark 12:29-32

  3. Hi Jo, Caught up on your blogs I have missed this week... Loved your pictures from your trip to Nairobi....

Yes, we need to Love God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. AND--we need to love our neighbor as ourself...

That's one of my favorite verses... Thanks, Jo... Beautiful flowers.

  4. Unfortunately so many people are dissatisfied with themselves so they have no idea how to love anyone else.

  5. Beautiful yellow flowers and verses, Jo. When I am teaching my Good News Club kids the Ten Commandments, I like to point out that the first 4 commandments are about loving God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and the last 6 commandments are about loving your neighbor as yourself. So Mark 12:29-32 are kind of like the Ten Commandments in a nutshell. (((Hugs))) -Pat
