Praise God!

During the preparation for, and in the aftermath of, the horrific YASI in Australia, my blogger friend, Diane gave us the true picture of how Australians rally together and face disaster. I also laud and applaud their government for the quick reactions and arrangements before the storm. Their shops were well-stocked and efficiently manned to cope with the influx of shoppers loading up essentials. The most impressive feat was the large evacuation of hospital patients by the government and army.

All I can say, is thank God for such orginization. For, like cleanliness (which impresses me about that country) efficiency is also next to Godliness.

In my quiet time and while praying for the victims of this storm (and the ones in the US) I came across this scripture under the heading: Hope for Restoration.

Long ago the Lord said to Israel [Australia]: "I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself" Jeremiah 31:3

God bless and keep you all in this time of trial and testing. May you come through stronger and know that He loves you and will restore your homes and lives.

  1. Very nice post, Jo. Diane is a friend of mine also. I have been praying hard for the people in Australia. Between the flooding and the cyclone, they have had much more than their share this year.

    Beautiful lily.

  6. I've been neglecting praying for Australia because I've been focusing on Egypt. I just added a prayer to yours. I like that scripture.
