Summer Sunrise over Kimwarer Valley

I never tire of the sun rising over the valley where we live in Western Kenya. I seem to be out there every morning taking photos...

  1. That's a lovely view, Jo!
How would we live without the African sky? ;-)

  2. Thank you so much for your kind words of condolence today, Jo. They really mean a great deal to us all. This has been a horrible week, but we are trying to focus on moving forward.

The animal shelter we are dealing with is the Bellville Animal Anti-Cruelty League and in addition, Linda has volunteered her services to Furkidz. She is always passionately committed to anything she tackles, so I know she will make a difference. She feels this will make Romeo's death more meaningful and she intends to raise funds annually, in Romeo's name, for this cause.

Coco is too adorable and she is slotting in as if she were born to our family.

    With love,

    Des xoxo

  4. Hi Jo-Anne,

Lovely photo. Can't remember when last I've seen a sunrise, and I'm up at 4.30 or 5, it's always overcast lately.

We're just back today, somewhat jet-lagged, quite exhausted, but happy to be home with Lindy.
