Blot on the landscape

Title used with apologies to Tom Sharpe.

While photographing the flowers of Namaqualand last month, I noticed a square edifice in the distance
Not sure what it was but it made a nice feature in my scenic shot

  1. It looks like a building of some kind. It looks nice silhouetted against the sky and the beautiful flowers in front.

  2. The "blot" puts the colorful hillside in perspective. So many beautiful flowers.

  3. Ah, yes, a very necessary architectural element. A thorn among your roses, as it were.
    Fantastic wildflowers, Jo.

  4. more of these purple flowers just for me?

  5. This is a very striking shot!
