We're back in Mwadui!

Well, believe it or not, we're in Mwadui, Tanzania and I'm finally back on Blogger. Many, many thanks for all the wonderful comments when I opened my blog yesterday.

We've been back since Monday but for the first time in many years, Grant and I picked up a flu bug in our last week in South Africa. We traveled back to East Africa, feeling less than normal and very weak. His flu had developed into a respiratory infection and mine was a nasty bout of bronchial pneumonia. He went back to the office the minute we landed on Monday and picked up the reigns again. I took to my bed and stayed there until Saturday morning - the first time I felt human again! We're both fit and well again, managed two birding outings over the weekend and look forward to the next ten weeks on site.

Of course, our three babies were pleased to see us again although they're so well cared for in our absence, I think this is our impression!

Here's to a great week ahead!
