Sunrise over my backyard

I am with my friend, Lori from Skoog Farm Journal, to protest against the continuing winter weather in their area. She is posting a flower every day until the snow goes away. She invited any and all to join her, so...
A blue pond lily in the African bush

...even though I live in an African country with year-round summery conditions, I'm linking to her blog here, to show my solidarity!

I'm linking my complete post today to Skywatch Friday which you can access here

  1. Beautiful sunrise. Unfortunately I have no flowers to post. It is still winter here although I believe we are finally at the end of it. Spring is in the air. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs. xx

  11. Cute idea... I recently posted some flowers on Facebook--wishing for SPRING...

We are having a nice week--with a warm-up, but they say it will get cold again next week. I'm not sure that winter is over for us! Oh Well....

    Love your sunrise.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  12. Beautiful pics but I want that "snow" in our dry area. :) But I know, it has been a harsh winter for some. Be strong sister.

  14. Beautiful images. Here where I live the temps have warmed up today and snow has been melting of the roof steadily. Still the ground is covered by at least a foot if not more. Sigh.
