New Territory

Not the cats, me and some friends...

On Saturday Grant arranged for a driver to take me, Marnitz, Amanda and her husband Andre to a new town to [primarily] check out the supermarket we'd heard about. We had a wonderful time and we back (quite exhausted from all the excitement, LOL) at 3pm! More about it all soon.

Meanwhile, Marnitz, our young production manager, asked me to photograph him in the main street of the town so that he could send the image to his friends back in South Africa!

Marnitz poses in the main street of the "new" town we visited on Saturday

Here's wishing you all a wonderful week ahead!

Bird's Eye View

From my perch in the tree in the middle of mom's new garden I can see her, Ambrose and Ginger below
And I can see over the reed fence into the big garden where the dogs (ewgh) and chickens are

Psst: Ambrose worked out that if you climb the branch behind me in the above photo, he could almost jump onto the house roof and have an adventure. Now our yoomens are saying they will lop the long branch off to stop this happening. Trust Ambrose to let the cat out the bag!

Current Market Value

These three little girls are only a few of the dozens I see in and around the fresh produce market in Shinyanga. Their mothers are vendors and the little ones play in the sand and between the stalls all day. I bought suckers/lollipops and they posed while I took their photo. Afterwards their respective mothers came running to see their children on the camera screen

I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend.
