Digital photo fun

Yesterday I decided to play around with some of the scenes I photographed on our camping trip over New Year. As it had been raining for a week, we were washed out from camping and spent the night in a "Hobbit-like" silo on the farm. You can read about this here if you wish.

The photo which I played with is taken from a bridge over a river on the way to the Korannaberg mountains.

Original photo  - straight off the camera

Gray scale/black and white
Reverse black and white (weird!)

Coloured pencil (my favourite)

Sepia

Watercolour

Which is your favourite?

  1. Ooh, hard to decide. I think I like the black and white, but then I think I like the sepia, and the watercolour is very nice, too.
Okay, I'll pick the watercolour because I've never seen that special effect before.
    What fun for you!

  3. That's some interesting experimentation. The reverse black and white looks like a science fiction setting! I like the watercolor best.

  4. OOOH! How clever! Apart from sepia, and black & white, I've not seen the rest of these techniques done before :)
