A Covenant for 2012

Driving to Eldoret in the Kenyan Highlands yesterday, we were blessed with this very clear and bright rainbow.

At first I captured the righthand side of the rainbow through the rain-splattered windscreen

A little way ahead, I photographed the left-hand side of the rainbow

Then we saw the complete rainbow over the road ahead of us. To us it was God's blessing and promise over us, protecting us in 2012

May this rainbow ushering in the New Year, be God's great covenant to you all in 2012!

And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:12-13

  2. How utterly beautiful and blessed. A wonderful start indeed.

We are sweltering in 40+C temps and just about melting away. If it weren't for the champagne last night, we would be dehydrated!

All the very best my friend!
