The Mourning Moon!

Wednesday 25 November was full moon. The November full moon means a change of things. You can read about the paganism connotation on this here It was so huge over Amanda and Angus' house that night and we hope a big [full] moon bodes big rains. Even after a good 30ml shower on Friday night, the earth needs more heavenly water. So let it rain...

I'm linking my post to Skywatch Friday here

  1. Beautiful. I love a big, bright moon which usually finds our part of the world at the end of October. Perhaps last night (Wednesday) was also a big moon but I was safely ensconced inside as it was quite cold here. Tonight or late in the day I went out and the moon was nice and round and golden. I didn't get any photos so I'm enjoying yours. Have a great day my friend. ♥

  4. Well I think the moon bringing rain is working here in Oklahoma. We are going through a deluge that started yesterday.
