I'm currently writing my blog from my cottage in the Drakensberg, Champagne Valley, Kwa-Zulu Natal; South Africa
How lovely to have your resident bird (as long it is not a crow, lol).
Not common here - and a little charmer.
Yes I remember them we used to have quite a few around our garden in RSA. Have a good weekend Diane
It posed very nicely for you!Have a great week-end!
Hello, Jo! Great sighting of the Common Fiscal. Good luck with your parkrun. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
That fiscal bird looks like it has a velvet body ~ so beautiful and right in your own back yard ~ great shots ~ ^_^(Happy Weekend, A ShutterBug Explores)
Hi Jo, thanks for stopping by. See you've moved again and now run a really interesting shop/gallery - wish so much I could stop by. The bird is lovely, do you feed it?I recall the views of the Drakensberg Mts. far in the distance when I stayed at Mala Mala (twice), moody and mysterious in shades of blue and purple as the sun went down - sadly too far away to visit, which I would have loved to do.Good luck with your business. Have a fun weekend.Mary -
