The news is out!

Hi Bozo, Lindy and Mums blog readers. This is Ambrose with the latest on the Hedges aminal household..

What's that Unca Shadow?

Oh. is it A - NI - MAL?

Last week we kitties were very nervous as a new aminal,  I mean, animal had arrived at our home. Mum told you all about the new puppy in the house. He's very sweet and so far hasn't bothered us kitties.
Meanwhile we try to keep warm on Mum's 'lectric blanket

Unca Shadow and Dad Ginger give each other the "eye"
The pup sleeps above Mum's pillow on the bed,  in the early morning
He has his own bed covered by blankees. He has many toys as well

Newest critter in Hedges Pet Hotel

This week has been full of activities. Rina and I have started a business project (more about that later).

We've had Chappie to the vet. Not anything serious, she's merely overweight!

What? Did I hear my weight being discussed?

Chappie showed her displeasure at being caged. Every meter of the 60-odd kilometers she yowled!

While I took Chappie into our vet's surgery, Grant browsed around the stands for a harness, a lead and flea powder (for pups) for Skabenga.

He also picked up a beautiful coat for pups

On the trip home, Skabenga fell fast asleep on my lap ; his head inside my handbag
By the time we'd arrived at home, it looked as if he'd sleep in the car for the night. His right paw was under his head which was in the empty water bowl. His left arm was slung across my handbag
Ain't he cute?
I gently woke him and placed him on the grass
Great-aunt Eddy comes to inspect the new coat
After his evening meal, Skabenga passed out on his blankee-covered donut, surrounded by his toys

Every night, before I go to bed, I take the pup out for a last call of nature. In the seven days since we got him, he's just about completely house-trained. That night Skabenga and I came indoors and he immediately sat on the mat near the door. He looked so cute, I took several dozens of photos ...
I picked this one to share on this post - I think I'll have it printed and framed!

As for Chappie: according to our vet , she's most definitely overweight. He prescribed special cat pellets - which of course cost much more than the commercial type all the other cats eat - and I'm measuring the meals which I feed her in small portions during the day.

Happy Saturday to you all!
