The largest part of my life nowadays

I just had to  come back onto blogger in my "hectic"  schedule (sic!)  and   prove  that I have  plenty rest.

I arrive at the little art and gift shop  I manage at  8.30  in the morning. I open,  set up my display  on the veranda and then I  plug in my laptop and...

wait...

and wait.

the  first visitors to the center arrive at 11 am - no  earlier during the week.  On a  Saturdays customers start to arrive a little earlier.

I  also  don't work  in  a busy supermarket packing  shelves  or  standing at  a check-out all day.  No, I  sit  in front of my  desk  and  do '"other" things, like posting on  FB  or blogger  for  eight  hours a  day.

I'm  my  own  boss here  in  the shop so  there's no stress...

I  interact  with the other shopkeepers and the customers  so II'mm  not  lonely or isolated.  I do a taigalates (stretching-type)   class for  an hour  before  work once  a week.  I open  late that day  as the  artist's  wife is in class with me. I still  do my 5km  Parkrun every Saturday and  open late that  day.

In  between I  go  to breakfast with  friends; once a month a business lunch with  Steve and  Estelle  (always enjoyable) and  tea parties with  friends.

Every  day I  arrive home at 4pm  and  Skabby  and  I walk  on the farm.  This past  summer, I've  taken  him  out  at 7 am  every  day too.

Once a month I  have my nails and toenails  gelled. I  lie back  and relax for two  hours  while  Jessica treats me.

AND

This  is the cherry  on  top.

Every single  night  - every  night  I  am  in bed  with  the   cats and a good  book...

...wait for it...

by 6.30pm.

Tonight  is my only late  night  in  the  month  -  Probus - I get to bed by  10pm)

Soooo kind  folks;

I  get  more than enough time off, recreation and rest.

I've been posting about my activities to keep a record of my life.  I would like to continue to share what I'm  doing and  hope you all realize  that  I'm  not  running myself  ragged. I don't want to get put off by criticism on everything I've done and now am posting about.
Pure boredom . This would be me if I didn't have other things to do in a very long day with very little work...

Part of my life nowadays

Today is my Valley Weigh-Less group which I run after work at The Nest Hotel. When I finish there, I stay  in the Valley for the night as it's our monthly Probus meeting. It's also the last time I stay with my dear friend and hairdresser, Lynette. On Sunday she leaves the Valley for the UK where she's embarking on a new adventure : Caring!
Lynette and me at last month's Probus meeting

My very first goal weight member, Yvonne who lost 10kg in less than three months!
Member, Ina (in white shorts) made a legal dessert which members enjoyed at my Thursday meeting
Enjoying the yummy pudding are Ina, Tracey (my pregnant member) and Cindy (seated)

Kerry, at 20.8 kg down. She's going great guns to reach her 30kg mark which makes her halfway to goal
Ria has lost 7kg in seven weeks. She joined the Weigh-Less group with great trepidation in January. And now is one of my bright stars!

HAPPY THURSDAY TO YOU ALL!

Catch-up!

Hello everyone. This is just a quick post touching base and to say I'm still in the land of the living!

Today is my wedding anniversary (47 years) and I was up early thinking about yours truly and all the great times we spent together.

But...

...today I'm once again, trying to break the cycle of not getting to post on blogger. I MISS ya-all and love to be here so please don't forget me.

I'm at the shop all day and six days a week. (including Sundays) My day off I do Weigh-Less group meetings, sort out my accommodation and also deliver my Avon beauty products and service my customers.

As you can see by the pic below, my assistant is exhausted - I keep going, by the Grace of God and thank Him for the extra resources.

Missy, my stalwart assistant in all I do (the most needy cat out there!)

So this post it a heads up to say to you, please don't give up on me. I am still here in the Southern Hemisphere and going strong.

I miss you all and fully intend to be back soon with more posts.

HAVE GREAT TUESDAY
