Wherever your treasure is...
Don't store up treasures here on earth where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves can break in and steal. Store up your treasures in heaven, where they will never become moth-eaten or rusty and where they will be safe from thieves. Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be. (Matthew 6:19 -21)

I really enjoy reading the scripture verses you post with photos that illustrate the meaning behind the scripture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Jo.... We do 'crave' our stuff, don't we????? I guess we all need to read that scripture every single day---so that we'll learn not to pay so much attention to our possessions and treasures in our lives...
ReplyDeleteTo me, walking outside in nature is as wonderful a treasure as some of my unimportant stuff --such as this computer. ha ha
Hugs,
Betsy
