Merry Christmas everyone!

We're back home after a ten-day safari across Kenya and wondering if the cats missed us... Mmm?

This was the first Christmas, since I started blogging in October 2008, that we didn't spend at home. I hope you all had a wonderfully blessed time with friends and family. I'll be back to blogging and visiting soon . (And sharing our safari with you)

  1. Maybe they stayed awake the whole time you were gone, and now feel safe enough to sleep?
Glad you're back, and looking forward to photos of your safari, Jo.
    Luv, K

  2. It doesn't look like they missed you. They must have had good carers while you were away. Looking forward to your safari photos. I posted the bokeh pictures in my last two posts with you in mind.
I hope you had a great Christmas even though you weren't at home.

  3. Welcome home. It was your first time away from hoe and my first time at home for Christmas :-) I found it a nice change.

  4. Cats are like that.

Can't wait to go on safari.

  5. Welcome home Jo & Grant!!!Can't wait to read all about your trip. love and hugs Rose xoxoxo

  6. Hi Jo, your kitties look happy. The safari sounds like great fun. And I hope to see photos soon. Your new header is awesome. I love all the animals. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you a very Happy New Year!

  7. They look as if they had a very nice Christmas too !
My cats didn't miss us either, they all slept with a full belly when we arrived home !

  8. Hope you had a great time!!
    Love the kitties!

  9. My cats are very much like yours, Jo. They sleep sleep sleep, and then tell me that I have not fed them for days!

I wonder if you have a folder of cemetery photos on your hard drive? I have just started a meme called 'Taphophile Tragics' which is for those who love wandering through graveyards. I would love to have you join us, and give an African perspective to this very human aspect of life - dying. The blog can be reached via the side-bar of Sydney Eye, but I also provide it here

  10. Welcome home, Jo. Glad to hear you had a safe trip. Anxiously look forward to seeing the great pictures and hearing of your adventures.

  11. Lol! They don't look too stressed out about you being gone for ten days. They are beautiful cats, obviously well loved and cared for. I can't wait to see some of your safari photos!

Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to leave a comment. I appreciate your feedback. Jo
