But...
I'm back now - home again in Mwadui, Tanzania and getting back into the swing of things.
I have so much to share; dozens of photos to post; lots of interesting things to tell. For now though, I 'm a little
For the first time in all my years of flying around Africa, my feet showed signs of stress! (BTW this photo was taken two days ago; today my feet and ankles are back to normal again!)
Tanzania still as beautiful as always!
Home Sweet Home
A Happy and blessed Passover Weekend to you all!
I'm glad you made it home safely. I can relate to the swollen feet and legs which is especially problematic when on the plane.
ReplyDeleteTanzania does look very nice! I'm busily baking pies and bread for my small dinner tomorrow. I hope you have a Blessed Easter. Hugs. xx
Oh My Goodness... Your poor feet/legs really were swollen... Glad they are back to normal..
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back home. I'm sure you had a wonderful vacation.
Happy Easter.
Hugs,
Betsy
I'm glad your ankles are unswollen, Jo, it's no fun at all, is it? And if you take your shoes off, you can't get them back on again! I know.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're home safe and sound. I hope the cats all recognize you and Grant.

Jo , so good to see you back and also for me to be blogging again. It looks to me that your sandals/shoes had a strap across the ankle which restricted the blood flow. When flying, always keep moving your feet as though you were using an old fashioned treadle sewing machine and alternate by rotating them as well. The more drastic step is to wear compression stockings.
ReplyDeleteIt is worth taking care, rather than get a blood clot.
Happy and contented Passover/Easter to you my dear.
Welcome home and welcome back in blogland. Even though I have been a bit busy these last few weeks , I still missed your interesting posts.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home! Even with exercise and compression stockings my feet and ankles swelled on the flight home. Glad you're back safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteSeems a small price to pay for all the wonderful travels you have! Thanks again for the delighful armchair travels. And happy Easter. x Caroline
ReplyDeleteIt has to feel good to be back home. You have been extra busy to have your feet and ankles swell like that. Glad normality has returned.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, glad you are resting up after all your traveling. Your ankles do look swollen. Love the photos and the pretty sky. Have a Happy Passover/Easter!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Jo! And Ouch! SO glad they're back to normal...
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you!
