Yesterday we noticed a pigeon resting on our fence. It was one of our neighbor's racing pigeons. I'm not sure whether this bird should be resting when so close to home or whether its owner was waiting for it to clock in, but I took photos anyway. Then Grant opened the window and shooed the bird away.
With the image on my camera screen, Grant and I noticed how pretty this bird is
Peacefully resting a mere hundred meters from its homing loft!
What's that? Should I be practicing my flying?
I'm linking to Wild Bird Wednesday which you can see here
