Two 60-something blondes at the Guest Cottage... Still in search of the sea!
Then we drove to the nearby beach resort of St Lucia. Unfortunately the previous day we couldn't find the sea. (We're two blondes OK!) So on Sunday we stopped a man with a local vehicle registration and he directed us to the beach! The road had changed since Cyclone Demoina in the mid-eighties. He laughed when I told him I had lived in the area for almost 14 years in the seventies and eighties!
Rina loves the sea and couldn't wait to get onto the beach!
The beach was full of young families with their children
The Indian Ocean lapping at the shores of Zululand. North is Mozambique where Grant and his friends have arrived and are deep-sea fishing
We're off to explore Monzi (which hasn't changed much since we lived here) and then will drive to St Lucia again for a quick spell.
Happy Monday to you all!
Hello Jo, Happy Mother's Day to you, Rina and Pam! Spending the day at the beach sounds wonderful to me.. Looks beautiful there. Have a happy day and week ahead!
