Soft lighting
Our rondawel is off the grid; ie we don't have electricity although the big house across the lawn, where we eat and live during the day, is electrified. John intends to eventually have solar panels supplying us everyone with power (this is a project for Grant in the not too distant future) and so cut out the Electricity Supply Commission which is not at all reliable anymore.
Grant and I have candles and torches to see with . The ambiance is soft and calming.
Happy Monday to you all!

Very lovely Jo. I love the idea of solar panels too. That will be great when it gets done. In the meantime you can't beat the atmosphere of soft light from candles glowing in the dark; especially getting nearer to Christmas. Hugs.xx
ReplyDeleteHello, the lanterns are so pretty. I love the lighting. The solar is a good choice. Happy Monday, have a great day and new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI did not know you had no electric in your new home. I love candle light and these are beautiful lanterns. I assume you have wireless since you are posting. or do you have to go to the big house to use your computer? we would be lost without our TV and all my devices and of course Air conditioning.
ReplyDeleteLovely lighting. Solar panels are a great idea.
