Red-footed Falcon (Male)
This is one of the few birds where the male is less pretty than the female. The male is overall dark blue-gray with a deep chestnut vent. The female has a rufous crown and neck and buffy underparts with a red eye ring and red legs.
These birds are common non-breeding Palearctic; if I manage to see females and photograph them, I will post here again.
