The beauty of the lovely weather we're still enjoying is that every meal is a celebration when eaten outdoors. Yesterday I served fresh bread, cheese and sliced tomatoes followed by fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. All agreed that it was a king's feast just because the repast took place in the garden.
The Lord is my Shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in green medows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. (Psalm 23:1-2)
I LOVE eating outdoors, both in Sweden and in Niger. Unfortunately, my lunch, it'll be too hot outside, unless we sit in the pool. It's funny how much happier I am when I spend time outside - the sunlight has such a positive impact compared to the light bulbs indoors.
ReplyDeleteWarm greetings from West Africa!
Oh yes, Esther, I can remember the heat in West Africa and trying to eat outside. Most entertaining had to take place in the evening. I agree absolutely - I thrive in the sun and outdoors. BTW. Tigger, my oldest cat wants to invite all at the Ark for a party - see 1 April post! Hugs Jo
ReplyDeleteOh, how I wish I could've joined you for such a wonderful Al Fresco lunch, Jo :)
