I am sorry to hear your friend is going through this difficult time of grieving. It always is very much more of a shock when it is so sudden and unexpected. Somehow, there just seems to be so much more to have to come to terms with, not least being that you weren't given the opportunity to say goodbye. Sending her loving hugs through you, Jo and a big one for you, too! XOXO
We shall not all sleep (be dead) but we shall all be changed! The trumpet will soon sound and the dead in Christ will arise. May the Lord comfort your friend with that great passage of Scripture you quoted from 1 Corinthians 15. I love that whole chapter.
I know how it feels, Jo, but I also know your inspiration and guidance will help.
