A bright green grasshopper, with black patterned wings, in my garden yesterday
I tried to identify above grasshopper via the Internet but was unsuccessful. However, I was thrilled to spot this vivid creature on a sisal plant under my bedroom window and to practice my super macro photography on it.
What a spectacular shot!
ReplyDeleteWow, Jo, that is fabulous! I love its tartan wings.

Great macro!
ReplyDeleteMarvellous capture, Jo! We also get very excited whenever any new visitor appears in our garden and having a macrolens for these occasions just makes the moment even more memorable :)
ReplyDeleteI tried out Bill's wide angle lens in the garden this week to do a post on leaf litter, but I will need to practise a lot more as I have successfully distorted everything...you can see the post...it's up...feel free to give me any advice you can think of, please! :)
Big hug,
Des xoxo

Great close-up, Jo! I haven't seen a grasshopper like that before.
ReplyDeleteI like this photo, Jo. I wonder if the insect is trying to hide against the green. :)
