Early morning rays of sunshine play over my collection of ornamental grasses and succulents
It is good to give thanks to the Lord
To sing praises to the most high
It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning
Your faithfulness in the evening
Accompanied by the harp and the lute
And the harmony of the lyre
You thrill me with all You've done for me!
I sing for joy because of what You have done
Oh Lord, what great miracles You do!
Psalm 92:1-5a
Beautiful photo, Jo, of the sun hitting the grass. Seems like I say this alot during winter here, but we haven't seen much sunshine lately... Now they are calling for more snow for us (now that we finally have gotten rid of our big snow).
ReplyDeleteGreat Psalm.
Hugs,
Betsy
Beautiful, Jo, just beautiful.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning sums it up so beautifully for me with her lovely observation that you're nowhere neearer to God than you are when you're in a garden! Your garden, Jo, is truly a place of wonder and a very special place to make that connection :)
ReplyDeleteOh, isn't that pretty?!!
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you Jo!

ReplyDeleteOh, I love the look of these grasses lit up. And that's a beautiful psalm also. Thank you for your kind words...I am recuperating.
