Sunrise over Lake Baringo

Recently Grant informed me that he would like to take photos, especially on our Sunday birding trips. I think he was exasperated that I couldn't get good action shots of the Pied Kingfisher diving into the water and rising up with a fish in its mouth. Mmm.

When we're in South Africa, he's getting me an upgrade on my camera; he'll then inherit my present Canon Powershot, which is fantastic. (Note ambiguity of the last phrase, ha!)

Last weekend, while I showered, I suggested he should practice by taking the sunrise over Lake Baringo where we spent the night. Above is a collage of the images he captured.

  10. Grant took some lovely shots of the sunset over the lake. It is a gorgeous scene. You do have lovely views there. So you get the new camera and hubby will take over your old one. I think that is a great idea. Have a great day, Jo!
