Hedges Kitty Hotel Tanzania

Hi Bozo, Lindy and mum's blog readers. It's Ambrose here as usual with the weekly update on the life which we three Tanzanian cats enjoy.

This week I found some pictures of me and Unca Shadow on the cat tree again. Unca Shadow looks quite funny in a few photos. Then dad Ginger sitting on the floor near his office chair; he says he takes ten-minute-breaks away from the desk!

I, Ambrose, look upwards to where I know Unca Shadow is (My grey toy mouse is in the box with me)
Unca Shadow yawning
Mum says this photo came out strangely with Unca Shadow almost invisible; only his blue eyes show he's there!
Dad Ginger takes a catnap away from his office chair. He likes to exercise during this break by playing with a toy

Oh and I just have to post a photo of Princess the pup who is five-and-a-half months old now!

Phenomenal sighting

One of our first wildlife sightings back on site, happened during our first week. We'd gone out just after 5pm when Grant finished work. We'd passed the explosives magazine where we'd stop to photograph a Juvenile Malachite Kingfisher, Silverbirds, Lilac-breasted Rollers, and a Beautiful Sunbird. Heady with excitement at our "first" sightings back in Mwadui, we rounded the corner...

...to see two Pied Crows bombing and trying to peck something on the wide sandy road. Then it reared its head and we saw it was a cobra!
The cobra makes a hood to scare the enemy

One crow sat on an overhead wire and watched as its mate followed the cobra who finally disappeared into the grass

I'm linking my post to Saturday Critters Party hosted by my friend Eileen.

I trust you're all having a great weekend.
